"Unit" Desiccant
A unit is a commonly used desiccant adsorption unit in foreign countries. It refers to the amount of desiccant required to adsorb 3 g of water at an equilibrium temperature of 25 ° C (RH = 20%) in the case of RH = 20%.
According to the US military standard for desiccant (Mil-D-3464E), the adsorption capacity of bag-compliant desiccant in accordance with the standard must meet:
A "unit" desiccant can absorb 3 g of water at an equilibrium temperature of 25 ° C (RH = 20%).
A "unit" desiccant can absorb 6g of water at an equilibrium temperature of 25 ° C (RH = 40%).
Specifically, a "unit" smectite desiccant is approximately equal to 33 grams, a "unit" silica gel desiccant is approximately equal to 28 grams and a "unit" molecular sieve desiccant is equivalent to 28 grams.
Chunwang desiccant is often designated as a desiccant for its superior quality and good reputation. Such as Huawei, Emerson, Sanyo are designated, classic case, Sanyo 6 units (6 Unit) montmorillonite desiccant.
